Care Advice
Woolen Rugs – Care and MaintenanceWool is a natural material that is both durable and naturally dirt-repellent. By following a few simple care guidelines, your wool rug can remain a beautiful and long-lasting part of your home for many years.Regular CareVacuum regularlyVacuum your wool rug at least once a week, and more frequently if it is placed in a high-traffic area. Always use a flat nozzle without a rotating brush to avoid damaging the fibers. For rugs with a slightly longer pile, vacuum in the direction of the pile to minimize shedding. It is normal for new wool rugs to shed excess fibers from the production process. During the first few weeks, vacuum more frequently to remove loose fibers. Shedding will gradually decrease over time. Use a rug pad A rug pad helps protect your rug from wear, improves comfort, and keeps it securely in place. Rotate regularly We recommend rotating your rug a couple of times a year to ensure even wear and balanced exposure to sunlight and shade.
