A rug that feels and looks like silk

These rugs are made from the cellulose of the bamboo plant. The warp is in cotton which means that they are heavy and lie well on the floor. Bamboo silk is a delicate material and therefore these rugs should not be placed in areas of high foot traffic or where you can expect spills like dining room rugs or the children’s room rugs. It is available in 2 standard sizes 180 x 270 cm and 230 x 320 cm. We do make bespoke rugs so please send us an email if you would like us to weave a rug especially for you.
